CONNECT WITH WOMEN'S PHILANTHROPY
Women's Philanthropy is one of the most vibrant and active areas of the Jewish Federation, providing a forum for women to make connections with the community while raising funds for Federation’s Annual Campaign. Women’s Philanthropy provides an opportunity for every woman in the Princeton Mercer Bucks Jewish community to affirm her Jewish identity and inspire other Jewish women to establish themselves as partners in our community. Women’s Philanthropy programming is ongoing throughout the year and provides opportunities for leadership and giving.
EVENTS AND VOLUNTEERING
Women’s Philanthropy is a place for women of all ages, backgrounds, interests, and lifestyles. Working together, women can achieve much more than any one person can do alone. Events held throughout the year are coordinated to raise awareness and funds. These events are organized through the dedication of community board members, committee members, and Federation staff.
PHILANTHROPY
Women’s Philanthropy empowers individual women to make a gift in her own name, and represents the fastest growing segment of donors, with contributions comprising approximately one-third of all contributions to the Federation’s Annual Campaign. Participation in any of the giving circles signifies a woman’s understanding of the essence of being Jewish and the importance of being involved in Federation.

Over 200 women helped shape our community at this year's Women's Annual Spring Luncheon
Laurie Ann Goldman, CEO of the shape wear brand Spanx, connected with over 200 members of our Federation's women's campaign as she told her story of balancing family, community, and business at this year's Spring Luncheon held at Greenacres Country Club on May 13, 2010 and co-chaired by Joanne Berman and Jackie Orr.
Local women were presented with awards for their continued dedication in shaping our community as well. Linda Cohen, former Associate Executive Director of our Federation, was honored with the Woman of Valor Award, and the Young Leadership award was presented to Board members Amy Vogel and Nadine Singer.
The event also included the Chances for Treasure raffle chaired by Beth Eisler featuring prizes from local merchants such as gift certificates for restaurants and spas, fine jewelry, handbags, and more!
