On Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 7:30 pm, the East Windsor, Beth El Synagogue Genealogy Club will present a discussion titled “Haim Kantorovich: Socialist and Cousin”. Dr. Stephen Cohen will present a "practical application” of genealogical research. Using genealogical tools, Dr. Cohen will construct a historical biography of his cousin, Haim Kantorovitch; a prominent militant-socialist thinker, writer, co-founder of the American Socialist Quarterly and teacher at the Workmen's Circle in the 1920s and 1930s. Starting with some family stories, plus judicious searching of various on-line databases, use of interlibrary loans, as well as correspondence with Mr.Kantorovitch's closer relatives, Dr. Cohen will show how you can construct a real history of someone using the latest genealogical methods.

Beth El Synagogue is located at 50 Maple Stream Road, East Windsor NJ, 08520. Please call the Synagogue Office with any questions, (609) 443-4454; www.bethel.net.

Thank You,
