On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 12:00 pm, the Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Werner Lecture Fund will be sponsoring an Art in the Afternoon program titled ‘National Museum of Women in the Arts’.
Join us for a light lunch and a wonderful lecture with renowned art lecturer, Barbara Tomlinson. Amid all the various museums in Washington, DC there is one that is unique in the world. No one else has a National Museum of Women in the Arts. Unlike many specialized museums that are struggling to survive, the Museum of Women in the Arts has developed into an exciting, innovative institution. Ms. Tomlinson’s talk recounts the history and development of the Museum as well as offering a virtual tour of highlights from its collection.
Admission includes a gourmet light lunch. Fee is $10. Reservations are required by April 16, 2015.
