On Saturday, December 6, 2014, the Israel Affairs Committee of Beth El Synagogue in East Windsor proudly presents ‘Current Perspectives on Israel and the Middle East’. Join us for a Shabbat Lunch and Learn where guest speaker, Tally Helfont, will address how the rift among the countries in the Gulf has impacted U.S. policy in the region, the current status of the Muslim Brotherhood, and aspects of U.S.-Israel policy.

Tally Helfont directs the Program on the Middle East at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Her current research focuses on the regional balance of power, the Levant and the Gulf States, and U.S. policy therein. She is also a Contributing Analyst for Wikistrat's Middle East Desk, a crowd-sourcing consultancy.

RSVP for this free event to Beth El Synagogue; 50 Maple Stream Road, East Windsor, 609-443-4454; www.bethel.net.
