Professional Development Course for Teachers on Holocaust History

Registration is open for a free mini-course at Rutgers that offers a comprehensive chronological study of the history of the Holocaust and includes university style lectures, film discussions, testimonies, and pedagogical sessions on classroom application. ( Please note that the course runs June 27-July 1, 2016, from 9:00 am-3:30 pm daily. ) New and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. Participants receive numerous benefits from the program, including professional development hours, resource materials, access to preeminent scholars of the Holocaust, help in curriculum development from experts in Holocaust pedagogy, access to a supportive network of teachers, and access to the Shoah Visual History Archive. Lunch is provided. Advance registration is required.
